BOGDANKA POZNANOVIĆ

Bogdanka Poznanovic was born in Begec, in 1930 in Vojvodina. She earned her degree in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Poznanovic’s art practice includes traditional and new visual media, painting, and mail art. She was a member of the Editorial Board of the magazines Polja and Tribina mladih. She received a grant from the Italian government to reside in and specialize in her work in Florence and Rome in 1968/1969, and later in Venice in 1977.  Poznanovic is a longtime professor of Intermedia Research at the Academy of Fine Arts in Novi Sad.
